The next Laconia Flight Academy (LFA) hybrid Private Pilot Ground School course will start on May 20th, 2024. This 10 week course has been developed to help students prepare for the FAA's Private Pilot Knowledge test and their Private Pilot Checkride.
Course Details - 10 Week Course - Meets every Monday and Wednesday, from 6-8pm - Location: Laconia Airport Terminal Conference Room - Hybrid class – In Person and via Microsoft Teams - Cost is $649 non-refundable; to be paid prior to start of first class - Included course materials: • 2024 Private Pilot Test Prep Book; Provided by LFA • New York Sectional Chart; Provided by LFA • E6B Whiz Wheel; Provided by LFA • Plotter; Provided by LFA
Other material that students can either download for free or purchase • FAA Airplane Flying Handbook (Electronic or Paper) • FAA Pilot Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge (Electronic or Paper) • Recommended, but not required: iPad with ForeFlight on it
