At this year's Wings, Water and Wheels event scheduled for 05/17/25 at the Laconia Airport, Sky Bright's Laconia Flight Academy will be hosting an hour long FREE talk on what is involved in becoming an Airline Pilot. As part of the talk we will review the complete process of first earning a Private Pilot Certificate, followed by the various other pilot ratings and certificates, and accrued flight hours, needed to qualify to be hired by the airlines. We will also discuss the difference between Part 61 and Part 141 flight schools, and the costs associated with them, and the pros & cons of each.

Congratulations to Ming Lin for passing his CFII checkride today! Ming has been the model student since coming to LFA to initially earn his Instrument Rating, and then shortly thereafter earning his Commercial Pilot Certificate, followed by his Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate, and now his Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument (CFII) certificate.
